Hvis man vil have et program til at starte automatisk ved opstart i Windows 10, så ligger start mappen på følgende lokation:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp
(Obs! hvis du browser/klikker dig frem til mappen, hedder den noget andet, e.g. hedder mappen "start menu" "menuen start", men den ægte sti til mappen er den foroven.
Denne mappe gælder for alle brugere, læs mere nedenfor vedr. start for den enkelte bruger, bemærk! mapper har helt andre navne i dansk sproget windows..
